about dan finley

Dan Finley is a Thai-American writer and artist. He loves writing fiction that delves into the scarier sides of technology and science fiction, which is weird because he is terrified of scary movies. His stories have appeared in SNAFU: Resurrection, New American Scurvy, and the Garland Court Review and he published his first novel, Repo, in 2023.

Born and raised in a small town in the Midwest, Dan has always loved the written word. He spent much of his childhood lost in the pages of science fiction, horror, fantasy, and comic book stories. After graduating from Brooklyn College with a degree in screenwriting, Dan embarked on a career in filmmaking and has won some honors and awards as a writer, director, and producer.

He can frequently be found staring at walls, imagining new worlds, and designing new ways for lovely people to meet terrible ends.
